Future Leaders Training in Budapest

Recently, Andersen held its "Future Leaders Training" event in Budapest, Hungary, bringing together over 60 lawyers from 23 countries, representing member and collaborating firms. Participants took part in extensive knowledge sharing, cultural activities, and team-building exercises. The event offered a valuable platform for attendees to expand their networks across various Andersen offices while gaining insights from both professional and personal perspectives.

A key advantage of the Future Leaders Training program is its focus on developing future leaders. Participants from Andersen offices across Europe, working in law and tax, are grouped into teams to collaborate on a case study with an international scope. This is done under the guidance of experienced partners from global offices. The program enables participants to enhance both their professional skills and their abilities in leadership and management.

Notable Program Speakers included José Vicente Morote, Managing Partner of Andersen Iberia, along with European co-Managing Partners Andrea de Vecchi and Paolo Mondia, Maricla Pennesi, Andersen European Tax Coordinator and Partner in Italy, and Alesso Rossi, European Industry Coordinator and Partner in Germany. These individuals form part of the Future Leaders Training Committee, and also were present throughout the event.

Ignacia Aparicio, Corporate and M&A European and Global Coordinator, Partner in Spain, Themis Giannakopoulos, IP, IT, Data Protection European and Global Coordinator, Partner in Greece, and Cord Vernunft, Employment and Labor Law European and Global Coordinator, Partner in Germany, delivered presentations on their respective areas of focus during the event.

Andersen in Malta’s Senior Associate, Susanna Grech Deguara, participated in the dynamic three-day training event. She took full advantage of the opportunity to network with colleagues from the member and collaborating firms of Andersen Global, establishing valuable personal and professional connections.
